IN HOME FALL MINI SESSION | MJD PHOTOGRAPHY | HILLSBOROUGH, NH

Last year, my favorite fall photos of my family were from an impromptu pumpkin carving evening.  We bought the pumpkins, we talked A LOT about carving them and then squirrels came and ate them!  We bought some more, talked a lot more about carving them, but just hadn't found the time to do it.  One night, after dinner, we decided to just do it.  The house wasn't clean.  We were in our "grunge" clothes.  My daughter decided she didn't want to wear pants.  But, we got out our carving tools and got to work.  This fall tradition then led to us making Halloween cut out sugar cookies.  This year, my daughter talks incessantly about pumpkins.  When asked what she wanted for Christmas - a trampoline, a cat or a pumpkin - she picked pumpkin without missing a beat!  Looking back through these pictures with her brings on feelings of nostalgia and the desire to create more memories with her this year.  These are the moments I want frozen in time, forever to remember.

These are the memories I want as part of her story.  This is the some of the history of our family that I want preserved.  This is us.  This is our family.  This is our home.  This is our life, right now.

Now, I'm not suggesting you don't wear pants for your session.  But let's talk about what an in home session would look like for YOUR family.
